Remote Control

This is the remote control for Nikon DSLR. The top one is wireless remote with battery and the bottom is wire control. It is a must to use a tripod when you wanted to use the remote control. The remote control helps to avoid hand shake problem. Photographers normally use the remote control to take night portrait.

For me the wireless remote control is really useful to me when i hang out and take photo with my friends. why? because the photographer can also be include into the photo.

Nikon Lens

Nikon has variety of lens with different function like angle, zoom & aperture. This is one of the reason that most of the people choose Nikon DSLR.

The price for the lens starts from RM 350 and i believe it is affordable for everyone.

The website for Nikon Malaysia is www.nikon.com.my. I feel comfortable when visit the website because i can see the menu clearly. The website contains all the information that a buyer needs. example like the company information, the products information, service and support, news & location of seller which near to you.


The Nikon website is helpful when you want to find out information about Nikon products. When a user clicks on a product that he/she interested, there is a "Compare the Product" function on the right side. By using the function, user can select other product to make comparison. User can compare the price and all the camera function without going to Nikon retailer.

Close up macro mode - Hutan Botanika Melaka

I took this picture in Botanika Garden which located in Ayer Keroh Melaka, during PBSM camping. The mosquito is in giant size. The macro function of Nikon D80 enable me to take a clear picture on small object, such as insects . The macro function is very usefull to me as i love to take close-up photos.

There is a "retouch menu" in Nikon d80. "Retouch Menu" is a menu where you can edit the photo by using the camera function. There are total of 7 function in "Retouch Menu : D-lingting, Red eye correction, trim(crop), monochrome, filter effects, small picture and image overlay.

Above is a sample of image overlay function. The Nikon D80 image overlay function enable me to edit the photo by combining 2 photo into one. For me, it is very convenience because i able to edit the photo on the spot without using computer.
